Over the course of four days packed with recreational and therapeutic activities, campers hear each other’s stories, explore their grief in a safe and understanding environment, and learn ways to help them cope with their loss.Can your baby’s heart rate predict the gender? Swimming, hiking, campfires, archery, sing-a-longs, crafts and a low-level ropes course are just a few of the activities that campers enjoy. Camp Brave Heart, staffed by counselors experienced in child and adolescent grief support, helps campers ages 6 to 17 discover that they are not alone. Often, these children know no one else who has suffered a similar loss.
